The farm La Badiola - Caio Alto concentrates on rabbit breeding with rustic and/or local breeds.
Rabbits are maintained in land-based enclosures, which are thermally insulated, hygienically healthy, protected from the weather.
Outside the shelters there are small parks for the autonomous motion, fenced areas with electrical system against predators. Here the rabbits live in community: find grass and acorns which they love; they dig galleries; they play in the mobile tunnels.
Only broodmares with puppies stay in isolated environment without small park.
Rabbits of the farm La Badiola - Caio Alto are organic, because they eat hay, herbs and organic vegetables produced in the farm itself, as well as the feed supplied from certified organic farms.
